Faith United Church is a vibrant, Spirit-led fellowship made up of all kinds of people who hunger to know and serve our awesome Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We are a non-denominational church that strives to reach persons of all ages, races and economic classes with the Good News that a Savior has died and risen again!

Our worship services are casual in dress; warm in welcome and love; exciting in Praise and Worship, and challenging in message. Our teachings (Beliefs) and ministries are geared toward empowering our members to live out vital and vibrant Christian lives for a two-fold purpose: first and foremost to impact and win the lost for Jesus Christ; second, to enable our members to live out the abundant life that Jesus promised us...to lay claim to all that the Bible says we should have.

As a Spirit-filled church we desire to live and walk in the power of God! The members of Faith United strive to learn, grow in, and utilize their spiritual gifts and strengths. We seek to provide a safe environment in which members are encouraged to use and grow in their gifts through ministry to not only each other, but also the community around them.

Faith United also strives to be accountable. We believe that true Christianity can only be lived out in an environment in which the members are accountable to each other and to the leadership of the church. To that end, we claim, as a Core Value, the need to hold each other up in prayer; to be there for each other, and to encourage and spur each other on to good works and love.

As a result of our mutual encouragement and accountability, Faith United continually seeks to jump into the mighty river of God and allow Him to take us for the awesome ride He has for us! At Faith United we understand that our God is a God of miracles!!

As a God of miracles, the Lord has blessed Faith United with an entire city block and almost one-third of another on which to build...so we have plenty of room to grow!!

We are in the process of building a new 12,500 square foot Family Life and Worship Center! We look forward to its completion very soon! Once our new building is completed, the building we are currently in will become the headquarters for Faith United’s Youth Ministry to Hempstead and the surrounding areas.

That brings us to one of Faith United's main focuses: reaching young people with the hope that is in the Lord Jesus Christ! We not only offer Sunday School for all ages, but also we offer a Children's Church ministry during the morning, evening and Wednesday night services. In addition, K4C, or Kids 4 Christ, is Faith United's ministry to children in the second through fifth grade. They learn about God...do fun activities and grow in their faith and ability to serve the Lord. Our Youth Group, Youth Ablaze, meets every Wednesday at 7pm. They have a great time of fun, fellowship, food and learning what it means to walk as a radical believer in Christ!

In short, Faith United Church could be summed up in the following way: We want to be "Church" in the true sense of the word....we don't want to be a "group" that meets in "that" building...rather, we want to be a fellowship of those "called out" to serve the Risen Lord in Waller, Austin, Montgomery, Harris, Grimes and Washington counties....to be a truly regional church with a regional vision!

The members of Faith United would like to invite you to come worship with us. New members have found it extremely exciting and a true blessing to their lives to be involved with this awesome move of the Holy Spirit!
